This YouTube clip is a local news segment (in Portuguese) showing an expedition in Mato Grosso do Sul, traveling along rivers to recreate exploits of early Portuguese settlers traveling to the goldfields of Cuiabá. Even if you don't understand what's being said - these videos show the rivers and scenery, and give some idea of what the journey was like.
